The Ricci Foundation



The Ricci Foundation has been established to honour and celebrate the musical life of the internationally acclaimed legendary violinist Ruggiero Ricci.

The principal aim of the Foundation is to assist exceptionally talented violinists and pianists who are British Nationals or resident in the United Kingdom, and whose talents display genuine potential for musical excellence.

The award winner, who must be between the ages of 16-28 inclusive, will be selected through preliminary assessment followed by public auditions and may be offered awards of financial assistance in one of the following ways:

  • Assistance with master classs fees
  • Assistance with the cost of private study with a music teacher in the U.K. or abroad
  • Financial or practical assistance towards professional public performances
  • Other musical projects may be considered at the discretion of the Trustees

  • Our award winners are offered concert performance opportunities
